Ilangu Begin?
Ilangu was started in August 2022 by Praveens Vigins F and his team — a group of young people who refused to look away from a problem hiding in plain sight.
During a school visit, they witnessed signs of substance abuse being openly ignored. That single moment became their turning point. Instead of walking away, they chose to raise their voice and create change.
From that one school visit, Ilangu has grown to touch 25+ institutions across Chennai — running awareness programs, competitions, and community drives that reach thousands of students.

An active philanthropist and the driving force behind Ilangu Trust, Praveens Vigins F started this movement with one simple belief — that no student should have to face these challenges without someone in their corner. Under his leadership, Team Ilangu has grown from a single school visit into a movement that has touched 25+ institutions across Chennai.
